Quantile co-movement and dependence between energy-focused sectors and artificial intelligence

چکیده
This paper examines the dependence between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and eight energy-focused sectors (including renewable energy coal) across different market conditions investment horizons. adopts both linear non-linear models such as quantile regressions cross-spectral coherency models. Evidence from model suggests that performance of corporations, especially those in sector depends strongly on AI. Results indicate varies sectors, well By considering negative positive shocks AI, we demonstrate corporations AI also according to direction Interestingly, impact differently conditions. Besides, found became stronger during first wave COVID-19 pandemic. Our findings hold profound implications for portfolio managers investors, who may be interested holding assets corporations.
